Welcome to UMMI.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the UMMI website, online store, products, and related services. Throughout these Terms, the words "UMMI," "we," "us," and "our" refer to UMMI and its operating business entity.

By visiting our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

1. Our Store

UMMI offers thoughtfully curated gifts designed for mothers, mothers-to-be, and the motherhood journey.

Our products may include handmade UMMI items as well as products manufactured or supplied by independent third-party brands.

Some products may be available only in limited quantities and may be discontinued or changed without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse of our website, pricing errors, inventory errors, or violations of these Terms.

2. Eligibility

By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

If you are purchasing on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to make that purchase.

However, certain variations may occur.

Handmade Products

Some UMMI products are handmade or hand-finished. Small differences in color, stitching, placement, texture, fragrance, appearance, or finish are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not necessarily defects.

Product photographs are intended to represent our products accurately, but individual handmade items may vary slightly from the photographs shown.

Product Colors

Colors may appear differently depending on your screen, device settings, lighting, and photography.

We cannot guarantee that the colors displayed on your device will exactly match the physical product.

4. Curated Gift Boxes

UMMI gift boxes may contain multiple individual products.

The exact arrangement or presentation of products within a box may vary slightly from photographs while maintaining the overall contents described in the product listing.

If an included product becomes unavailable, we will not substitute it with a materially different product without appropriately updating the listing or otherwise communicating with the customer when necessary.

Any return of a curated gift box is subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Unless otherwise stated, individual products from a gift box cannot be returned separately.

5. Third-Party Products and Brands

Some products offered through UMMI may be manufactured by independent third-party brands.

All trademarks, product names, logos, and other intellectual property associated with those products remain the property of their respective owners.

The sale of a third-party product by UMMI does not necessarily indicate sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation between UMMI and the product manufacturer unless expressly stated.

For third-party products, customers should also follow any instructions, warnings, ingredient information, allergy information, and usage guidance supplied by the original manufacturer.

6. Personal-Care and Wellness Products

UMMI may offer products intended for relaxation, comfort, skincare, bath use, maternity care, or general wellness.

These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition unless specifically identified as such under applicable law.

8. Candle Safety

Candles must be used according to the safety instructions provided with the product.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep candles away from children, pets, flammable materials, drafts, and other sources of danger.

UMMI is not responsible for damage resulting from use of a candle contrary to the provided instructions or generally accepted candle-safety practices, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Prices

All prices displayed on our website are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change without notice.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, typographical errors, product descriptions, promotions, or other inaccuracies.

If an error affects an order you have already placed, we may contact you before fulfilling the order or cancel and refund the affected purchase when appropriate.

10. Payment

Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is processed.

Available payment methods may be provided through Shopify or other third-party payment processors.

By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.

UMMI does not directly store complete payment-card information when payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

The amount of tax charged may depend on the shipping address, product type, and applicable state or local tax requirements.

12. Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

• shipping restrictions;
• unusually large quantities suggesting unauthorized resale; or
• errors affecting the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Once a shipment has been transferred to a shipping carrier, delays caused by weather, carrier operations, incorrect addresses, natural disasters, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.

Customer-Supplied Materials

If UMMI offers products created from customer-supplied materials, such as keepsake products made from baby clothing, customers acknowledge that cutting, sewing, or otherwise transforming those materials permanently alters them.

By submitting materials, the customer represents that they own or have permission to use them.

16. Gift Messages

Customers may have the option to include a gift message.

You are responsible for ensuring that any message submitted is appropriate and accurate.

We reserve the right not to print or transmit content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

17. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the UMMI website and its original content—including UMMI branding, photographs, product photography, graphics, packaging designs, written descriptions, website text, illustrations, and original designs—are owned by or licensed to UMMI and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may use our website for personal shopping and informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, republish, modify, copy, or use UMMI's original content or branding without permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of UMMI intellectual property to the user.

18. Customer Reviews and User Content

If you submit a review, photograph, testimonial, comment, or other content to UMMI, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.

You remain responsible for the content you submit.

We may display reviews or testimonials submitted through our website or approved review platforms, subject to applicable law and our privacy practices.
